Founder Stories | WHY · HOW · WHAT

Twelve stories on why I started, how I built the company and the value I hope to create with clients and partners.

Founder Stories | WHY · HOW · WHAT

In my previous article, I shared a new beginning: establishing my consulting business in Munich and Shenzhen. Now, I would like to tell the fuller story behind that decision—and the kind of company I want to build.
A company’s positioning, working practices and principles are often closely connected to its founder’s experience. Understanding the path I have taken also helps explain the choices I make today.

From November 2025 to October 2026, I will publish one article each month. These twelve stories will explore three themes—WHY, HOW and WHAT—to explain where the company comes from, how it is taking shape and the value it aims to create.

WHY | What Led Me Here?

My family, upbringing, professional experience and move from China to Germany have gradually shaped how I think about opportunity, responsibility and collaboration.
I will explore how these experiences came together in the decision to start my own business. Why now? Why Munich? Why focus on connecting China and Germany? And what can I bring to this work through the experience I have gained?

HOW | How Do Ideas Become Reality?
Building a company means turning ideas into concrete choices.
From choosing the brand colour and designing the logo to establishing companies in both countries, each step has required me to clarify what the business represents, which principles should guide it and how to put those principles into practice.
I will also share my experience of the two registration processes and how the differences deepened my understanding of cross-cultural collaboration.

WHAT | What Value Do We Choose to Create?
A clear purpose also needs practical answers. What do we focus on? How do we work? Which partners do we choose? And what can clients and partners expect from us?
These articles will explore the company’s strategic choices, how I contribute to projects and the principles that guide collaboration: sound judgement, integrity, responsibility, mutual respect and long-term value.

Through this series, I hope to help readers get to know the founder and understand how personal experience translates into the company’s direction and way of working.
Some stories draw on professional achievements. Others come from turning points, difficult lessons and time spent reconsidering what matters. Together, they have shaped who I am and the foundations of this business.

The first main article will be published in November, beginning with my family and upbringing.
